What we collect through kingdomcenter.church and The Kingdom Center app, why we collect it, and how to have it removed. Last updated October 7, 2026.

The short version

  • We collect only what you give us, so a real person on our team can follow up with you.
  • We never sell it, and we never use it for advertising.
  • You can ask us to remove it at any time.

Who we are

The Kingdom Center is a new church launching in Santa Clarita, California in 2027. Today we gather as Center of Hope Valley. In this page, “we” means the church and the volunteers who serve on its Launch Team.

What we collect

  • When you join the Launch Team, on the website or in the app: your name, your email, your phone number if you give it, what interests you, how you heard about us, and the invite link you came through if a friend invited you.
  • When you RSVP in the app: your first name, a phone number or email, and how many people are coming.
  • If you turn on notifications: the address your phone uses to receive them (a push token), whether it is an iPhone or an Android phone, and which notifications you chose.
  • A random app ID. The app makes up a random ID on your phone so it can remember your RSVPs, your invite link and your notification choices without an account. It is not your name, your phone’s serial number or an advertising ID.
  • Notes from our team. As we get to know you, leaders keep short notes: when we texted or called, what we talked about, which team you are interested in, and anything you share about your gifts and availability.
  • If you are a leader with a login: your name, your email, a scrambled copy of your password that we cannot read, and a record of what you do in the leader tools.
  • Basic technical data. Like every website, ours receives your internet address (IP address) in order to load. We keep a temporary count of attempts from an address to stop password guessing and spam.
  • Visit counts on the website. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see how many times pages are viewed, which sites send visitors to us, and which countries they come from. It does not use cookies and it does not identify you.

What we do not collect

The website and the app do not ask for your location, your contacts, your photos, your camera or your microphone. They do not use advertising identifiers or advertising cookies, and they show no ads. The app does not take payments.

How we use it

  • To welcome you and follow up personally by text, call or email.
  • To tell you about a gathering you said you are coming to.
  • To send the notifications you chose, and no others.
  • To help you find a team that fits you.
  • To thank the friend who invited you.
  • To keep the website and the app secure.

Who can see it

Our pastors and the Launch Team leaders who follow up with people. Each of them signs in with their own login. Names, contact details and notes are never shown to other people using the app.

A few companies run the technology for us and handle data only to provide that service:

  • Cloudflare hosts the website, the app’s server and the database, and provides the visit counts described above.
  • Expo, Apple and Google deliver notifications to phones.
  • Google Fonts supplies the lettering on the website, so Google receives your internet address when a page loads.

We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not share it for anyone’s marketing. We would share it only if the law required us to.

Children

The Launch Team sign-up, RSVPs and the app are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13, and the app never asks parents for their children’s details. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Seeing, fixing or removing your details

You can ask what we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to remove it. Either:

When you ask us to remove your details we delete your sign-up, the notes about you and your RSVPs within 30 days. Turning notifications off in the app removes your phone from our notification list right away. Deleting the app deletes the random app ID with it.

Otherwise we keep your details for as long as you are connected with the church.

How we protect it

Everything travels over an encrypted connection. Only people with a login can see names and contact details, and passwords are stored in a scrambled form that even we cannot read. No system is perfectly secure, so we collect as little as we can.

Do Not Track

We do not follow you across other websites, and our visit counts do not identify you. Our website behaves the same whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track signal.

Changes and contact

If this page changes, we will post the new version here and update the date at the top.
